What We Know About Brains Already. 24.02.2016.




Amelia – A brain is not a circle in the middle of your head. It is only half of your head.

Zek – Your brain has little cracks in it.
          - Water is good for your brain.
         - Exercise is good for your brain because it gives it Oxygen.
         - Movement is good for your brain.


Daryna – Your brain talks to other bits of your body.
                  - Books and reading are good for your brain.
                   - If you look at the computer for too long it mucks with  your brain.
                   - Big numbers are good for your brain.

Tama – Your brain tells you what to do at writing.

Nicky – Brains make you think and they make you talk.

Alec – Brain help you to think.

Taylor  - Your brain isn’t different colour sit is pink.
             - Maths is good for your brian.

Miles – Brains hold all of your knowledge in both halves.

Kfir – The cells in your brain tell your body what to do.

Cassie – Your brain and your eyes work together to help you in a line.

Ralph – I know your brian is like a huge sausage wrapped round and round and round.

Hugo -  Your brain is like two fists clenched together.

Callum – When you hear things the noise goes through your ears and into your brain.

Geogia – Your brain is grey.
                   - Food helps your brain.

Daniel – You just have one brain.
                  - Writing is good for your brain.

Kylie – I want to see real sheep’s brains.

Mrs Maw – Laughing is good for your brain.

                          - Music is good for your brain.

Brains and Thought Session Outline.

1   1. Read our favourite Science books as we come in the door.

    2. Go get our milo or cold drink and keep reading until we are all ready.

   3. Get to know each other better while we finish our milo. Talk about all the things that make us "us"... What we love, what makes us worry etc. Also learn important skills we need to know, to use our brains fully.

    4.  Brains and Thinking time. Group activities.


    5. Add to our Junior TAG 2016 Blog and/or            
   in our personal learning journals so we can     share our learning and thinking with our families and teachers.
